My Students

All the students at my school deserve the best! I have some really amazing, dynamic third graders. That’s why I have decided to go to third grade with them. My students have a ton of personality. This group of students are incredible and deserve the best learning opportunities.

I work at a Title I school in Los Angeles.

That means a large portion of our population qualifies for free or reduced price lunch because of their socio-economic status. We are an environmental studies school.

My Project

I have 21 amazing students and 6 laptops. We need to get all my students college and career ready. They need technology to get there. Having more laptops will grant my students more access to technology. I am requesting 2 more Google Chrome Books to help my students learn how to type, do research, and have access to learning applications. Being able to allow more students access to laptops also provides me more time to spend teaching in small groups without being interrupted. Google Chrome Books will help insure equity to my Title I students. Most of my kids do not have internet at home, so they don’t use technology on a regular basis. They can’t login to the learning applications our school uses, unless they are at school and I have a device for them to use.
