My Students

This year my district is starting the school year off with distance learning! I teach at a low-income school and all students that will be entering my class this year are performing below grade-level. Despite this, I am up for the challenge of this new platform!

Last year I had a lot of success with integrating technology while in the classroom, and I am hoping, with the proper tools, I can make it even better while being fully online.

My Project

We use multiple programs to support our virtual learning in the classroom and sometimes it can be a challenge to navigate the different programs and tabs and features on their laptop mousepads. A mouse would allow them to navigate with more speed and ease than the mouse pad on their laptops, especially when it comes to scrolling through virtual documents and our google classroom stream!

My students are doing well with the virtual classroom setting, but they would benefit greatly to each have a wireless mouse, I would like to provide one for each of them!

I also am asking for a cooling fan for my laptop because I am on my laptop for the entire duration of our class time, plus at least two hours each day for planning and creating and grading!
