My Project

My district has supplied quality tier 1, whole group, instructional material. It helps reach and teach many students in my grade level. After that quality instruction the best way to build those skills to mastery is practice and more practice.

The 'Drill and Kill' method is boring, let's help them practice in engaging ways.

Not only is the 'Drill and Kill' method boring, it is not something students can or will do independently. Making the practice more engaging and using things that can be done independently help students practice and gives me an opportunity to work on tier 2 instruction with students who need additional instruction.

I plan to purchase engaging skill practice games, mystery pictures, and digital practice activities with the TPT gift card.
