Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach 20 enthusiastic kindergarten students at a Title 1 school. I would like to provide rewards for my students to help motivate them to work hard and follow daily classroom expectations.

Students will earn rewards throughout the school year based on positive things they do.

To implement this, we need rewards. I am requesting “motivator rewards" such as fidgets, stress balls, keychains, drawing boards, and other miscellaneous prizes. Classroom rewards serve many purposes in the classroom.

I find that rewards increase participation, encourage students to try their best, and motivate them to work together. Rewards also help my young students by tracking rewards received and improving their learning.
