This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are extraordinary learners who live in the inner city and oh how they love the STEAM lab!

The benefits my students receive from your donations include, hands-on learning from building strands of DNA with clay to experimenting with electricity.

Such extensive learning activities require careful planning and organization. A place for every little piece is super important when working with tiny parts.

This is the second year for our STEAM program and we have doubled our gifted classes. In 30+ years of teaching I have found a clean and organized classroom provides the best learning opportunities for young students, especially those who may struggle with constant chaos.

Now that I have helped build a successful program here, I need assistance to help keep the curriculum and supplies carefully stored for use in the future.
