Help me give my students the tools that they need to be and feel successful. Headphones are incredibly important for my students to access programs that aid in their acquisition of fundamental reading skills.

My Project

I am the Title I reading specialist working with K-6 struggling readers and ELD students, and part of those interventions are computer-based. Good headsets are imperative to a quiet working environment when a room is full of students working on the computer. I have spent my own money this last year buying new headphones for my classroom, and with wear and tear, I cannot afford to replace them constantly. So I am raising money to purchase the much-needed sets so that we can start the school year off right! I am also seeking donations for classroom prizes. Students love to work towards a little trinket or sticker, but buying prizes for over 200 students is draining funds that would go to my own large family. Although this may seem silly to some, a reward system is a key to some students for motivation.
