My students are the generation that will do so much more using technology than ever before. In the classroom, I love to see my students show their work on paper. But to be honest, it is boring for them. We have used white boards, but gracious the mess of the whiteboard markers and erasers has us cleaning tables every hour.
I would LOVE to introduce my students to a fun and innovative way to show their work without using the messy whiteboards they have always used.
That is where these Boogie Boards come into play. They are electronic notepads that students can use to show their work and with a quick click of a button, they can erase the screen and move on to the next problem.
My students are awesome -- but they come from low-income families. These boogie boards would not be possible without the help from an AMAZING DONOR (or two!) These are a great way to bring technology into the classroom and keep my students engaged in a fun and not so messy way! I purchase hundreds of whiteboard markers every year because we use them so often and they dry up so quickly. The batteries in these boards last years and are easy to purchase when they need to be replaced. Help me share this cool, fun and unique item with my students!
