This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The 2021/22 school year is off to a great start! I have a group of 21 students who are very excited about school and have started a supportive community. From the start I could tell they loved reading. On the first day I got so many book recommendations I knew I needed to add to my classroom library.

I want to continue creating an environment for my students to love reading and I believe getting these awesome books will help!

My Project

I will be adding requested books to my bilingual classroom library for students to enjoy and read! Students are very excited about reading this year and these books are all ones that they have expressed they would enjoy! I had them do some research into the reads they would want and they did not disappoint. There is a little bit of everything in this list, from non fiction, to goodreads, to Spanish books as well. Thank you all so much for considering, I know my students will love it!
