My Students

I have thirty-one active students. They are very creative and like to have fun. I want to put their active minds to work to create meaningful work. They enjoy reading and writing and are very smart. They need engaging, creative, and fun lessons that will fit their needs and these projects should help. They are IB learners, and I would love to provide flexible seating as well as math support.

My students love movement and need to be given options.

They really push and challenge themselves. I would like to be able to reach all of my students with all of their individual needs and learning styles.

My Project

This project is focused on good behavior. I am asking for bands for chairs so that my students can fidget when sitting in the regular seats. I have a flexible seating classroom and some students can't handle the seating and need to sit in a regular seat. These bands will allow them to move their feet and fidget without disrupting others. I am also requesting some incentive charts and stickers. I use a classroom reward system already but these will be for certain students that need to focus on one goal at a time. They will be able to earn items of their choice once they are caught doing the appropriate behavior over a certain amount of time. I believe that both of these items will help my students be able to focus more and not distract others.
