My Project
I am so tired of watching kids constantly share their drinks! For some reason, they think “waterfalling” a drink stops germs from spreading. I wish they understood what backwash was. You would think that after living through a pandemic they would be a little more cautious.
This lab kit will help teach kids that diseases can be easily spread especially when sharing drinks.
Disease is an important topic to cover in environmental science due to its powerful effect on population sizes. Disease is a density dependent factor that limits population sizes in nature, but also has a huge impact on human populations as well. This kit will help students come to understand that and hopefully help teach them to be a little more sanitary.
