it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager to learn new skills and have the curiosity to learn what makes a sport popular and learn the rules of a game like golf. Because of the lack of space short golf will allow students to learn the golf skills without needing a regulation course or driving range
My Project
I am requesting clubs, golf balls, putters and more. The eagerness to learn new sports and the willingness to put themselves out there to try new skills. To understand that failing is part of the process and that if you do not fail maybe you are not trying hard enough.
Integrity respect and sportsmanship are all values that play a part when playing sports.
When one is playing golf its an individual sport. You have nobody to blame but you also do not have anyone to help. I feel it is important to experience both individual and team sports.
I love to see the smiles of success and I love to help my students succeed. When they are struggling its important for them to control their emotions. In golf, its about tension free and anxiety and about being able to make smart decisions, to avoid trouble. Its amazing how golf can prepare you for life.
