Golf and Soccer Goals

Help me give my students enough golf balls, a target, putt-o-cup sets, foot golf activity kits and discatcher to create field "goal" centers where all students will excel in PE skills and interpersonal relationships.

My Project

Students will learn to apply character education skills such as honesty, integrity and good sportsmanship while learning to use both golf and soccer skills. Several years ago, I attended a First Tee Professional Development program. After the training, I received golf clubs, balls, targets and curriculum. I used this program for a number of years. The kids REALLY loved all the centers. My office space and equipment building were greatly damaged during Hurricane Ian. Almost all the items in my office were destroyed and thrown out. More than half of the PE equipment was also thrown out, including all of the First Tee equipment. Being awarded this grant would allow me to start rebuilding the golf and soccer centers. Getting this equipment will allow centers to be set up for grades 3-5, serving 400 students.
