Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

"Aspire to inspire before you expire." My students are excited about doing just that! These middle school students who know the pain that bullying can cause are committed to inspiring the younger generation through reading.

My students are middle school-aged girls who are are committed to growing into leaders.

These girls were recommended and selected to receive positive behavior workshops, goal-setting assistance, mentoring, and academic assistance. As a result, they commit to service learning projects and aspire to the high expectations that truly make them Girls of Leadership and Distinction (GOLD).

My Project

The resources will be used as the primary tools in the service learning project where they will travel to early childhood settings within our district to read to and work with young students. These books will enable them to share the love of reading as well as the powerful messages of tolerance.

My students want to do the right thing.

These young ladies are committed to reaching back to help those who will follow them. They want to inspire others, and they simply need the resources to do it. Please help them as they passionately strive to help others.
