Going Remote Is NO JOKE!

Help me give my students the materials they need to help them communicate with me with remote teaching. They will have individual books, white boards, and magnetic letters to use at their home.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Forehand's classroom raised $589

This project is fully funded

My Students

My students are excited about learning and I want to have all they need to stay excited as they learn so much in our classroom! In this time of being remote, they need supplies to help them learn with technology as well as their teacher.

Our school is a small, rural school that has close ties to the community.

Family is very important to our school! Many families are raised by single moms and grandparents! Churches work hand in hand with our school to be sure each student has what they need to learn. So much of the time funds are just not available to ensure students have the materials they need to perform at a high level. Many parents are not able to work during this pandemic and parents want the best for their child, so they can be successful!

This year the students start school at home. It will be so different to teach them. They love to read and write as well as use manipulatives. They are very inquisitive and love to find out about the world around them

My Project

These materials will help my children at home with learning to read. They will be able to make words, write, read books and communicate with me using these materials.

As children learn to read, it is important to have manipulatives that will help make them successful.

They will use all these materials to improve with phonics, letter sounds and letter names. They will also be able to write words and sentences. Many are behind in their standards because of the time they have been out of school. With these materials it will help to bring them up in their reading development.
