This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are classified as needing extra help and as such they require hands-on educational resources in the classroom to review the objectives and standards that are being taught in the classroom. Through games, word and fact sorts, and other activities, learning turns into active participation rather than passive regurgitation of information.

However, they have the biggest hearts and are also seeking ways to support and give back to the community.

This year they asked if they could partner with the Climate and Culture Committee to participate in the school's annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and Activities. Help me give my students breast cancer awareness decorations, stickers, bracelets, decals and banner to participate and support the school's Breast Cancer Awareness Annual Walk.
