I am a kindergarten teacher at P.S. 104 in Brooklyn. I have twenty-five young paleontologists ready to go on a dinosaur dig. We will be studying dinosaurs and going to the Museum of Natural History to see the dinosaur exhibit. We also have the opportunity, with your help, to get "I Dig Dino Dig Play Day" kits from Insect Lore. With this kit, the children can become real paleontologists for a day. The kit includes steel hammers, chisels, brushes, goggles, and pith helmets. This kit will enable the children to unearth replica Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, and other dinosaur bones buried inside a dust-free Dinostone. The children will then observe, record, chart, read, and write about their archaeological dig. This is a great way to build up their self-esteem as they have fun learning. I will need four kits to have a complete set for my class. I hope you can help my paleontologists on the way to an exciting adventure of "Going On a Dinosaur Dig!"
