This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have started a recycling pick up program at my school. This is a fantastic opportunity for my students to learn about recycling, and help keep our campus beautiful. The past couple years, we have been using cardboard boxes. Through out the school year, the boxes get gross, sticky and unfortunately develop an odor. I would love to upgrade these boxes and provide good quality recycling bins to teachers who sign up for our recycling program.

With your donation, it will provide students and teachers with the opportunity to recycle and help beautify our school campus.

This also gives my students work skills and allows them to further develop their social skills by going class to class collecting recycling. We greatly appreciate all donations and help spreading the word to a worthy cause.
