Our students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects. The method and environment in which our students learn best vary greatly. We aim to incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are fearless when it comes to technology and, as children of the 21st century, they need to be prepared to use a variety of tools to engage their world. Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; our students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.
Once 2 separate small school districts, the current district was established in 2009 through a voluntary merger, exercising our civic responsibility to create a stable, more efficient, and academically viable school system for all.
We represent the first and only voluntary merger in the Commonwealth. The combination provides a strong sense of community and provides top-notch educational services.
Our students at CVHS are eager and hands-on learners. This greenhouse will continue to enrich learning for our students and allow them to continue to learn by experience. Students enrolled in science or family and consumer science courses will benefit from this project through learning about food sustainability, greenhouse practices, and the basics of crops. The best way to increase understanding is through hands-on learning, and this greenhouse will continue to help our students grow in their understanding. The materials requested will allow students to work in the greenhouse with convenience and efficiency.
