Help me give my students rewards for reading, writing and math goals! Many of my students experience testing and writing anxiety. We have been focusing on small goals that lead up to larger goals.

My Project

I love reading, math, science, and writing and so do my third graders! Together we tackle all kinds of real-world problems, from studying the lifecycle of a turtle, to writing a fictional narrative about its life and calculating how far they travel after they are born. We have set mini goals to help us master these core skills.

I try to make reading, writing, science and math meaningful through real life experiences and I need additional materials for hands-on practice and experiments to be able to continue these activities.

Through this meaningful work, my students come to have a deep understanding and appreciation of the relationships among reading, numbers, science and writing. We have set goals to help us succeed. Each student has set individual goals and as they meet them I reward them with stickers, books, and prizes and I can't wait to provide rewards for their hard work! We are the most excited for an end of the year Glow Day!
