My Project
This past year, students across the school continuously asked for soccer goals. We have a large field where they would do their best to create their own games using makeshift goals or cones, however, it is just not the same. The lack of proper equipment prevents safe, consistent play and limits opportunities for skill development, teamwork, and physical activity.
Soccer goals would provide structure, motivation, and inclusivity for all students during recess, PE classes, and after-school programs.
Organized soccer can promote physical health, teach valuable social skills, and foster a sense of community. These goals would greatly benefit our entire community and give our students a safe place to play at anytime. Sports not only allow the students to bond with each other, but allows a chance for teachers to enter another section of the student's life. These goals would give the teachers a chance to bond with their students without it being centered around books and numbers.
Please, help us give our students an opportunity they have voiced numerous times. These goals will give them a chance to grow, play, and thrive.
