I have an amazing group of students who have a strong desire to learn. They work hard each day to reach their goals and continually improve themselves.
My students come into class each day with smiles on their faces, ready to work hard and tackle new challenges.
They impress me each day with their strong work ethic and willingness to try new things. These children have an incredible sense of joy and happiness every day, and their positive attitude is infectious. I feel very privileged to be their teacher and truly look forward to seeing them each morning.
My Project
In 4th grade, students are required to learn about California history, including westward expansion during the Gold Rush. As part of their studies, students will embody the part of a pioneer heading west. They will use the scrapbooks and other materials from this project to create documentation of their fictional journey west. They will write journal entries and detail their experiences on the Overland Trail.
The materials from this project will help to bring this social studies curriculum to life in some incredible ways.
These materials will give my students the tools they need to embrace the history of their home state.
These materials will also allow my students to practice their writing skills while they express themselves creatively.
