I work with students in kindergarten-fourth grade as an Instructional Coach. My role includes working with classroom teachers during 6-week cycles to support student in reaching academic goals.
My students are enthusiastic readers.
They have been working to build their reading stamina and to begin setting goals for themselves as readers. When working in classrooms and alongside teachers, we work to stay focused on supporting our students' love of reading.
The students in our building are thoughtful leaders and I am excited to have more tools to help them continue to grow as readers!
My Project
I am requesting Jennifer Seravallo's The Reading Strategies Book and Grade Level Go-To Book Collections. These resources will support me in helping my students to create and meet reading goals.
I want to help my students to develop a love of reading.
To meet this goal, I need to help my students increase their engagement in reading and to help them find books they love. The materials from this project will allow me to match high-quality books to my students and to help them to develop a reading life. I work with students in grades K-4 and I am requesting one set of each collection.
I am excited to have access to these books to support my readers!
