My Students
I encourage the children I teach to develop a "think outside the box" mindset, which allows creativity to guide their thinking. Students at my school are curious about the world around them. They are interested in seeking out the answers to their questions by participating in unique learning opportunities. The lessons that the children enjoy most include hands-on activities, which provide memorable, educational experiences and help to create a love of learning.
Students at my school aspire to be world changers and inspire others to contribute positive qualities that add to our school community.
My Project
My goal is to teach children at my school a new skill by introducing them to the sport of disc golf. It is a sport that any child can play when equipped with the knowledge of the game. I love the sport because all children can be involved, regardless of athletic ability. Families can play the sport together and enjoy time together outdoors. My goal is to form a team of students who can learn how to play the sport and compete in local competitions. There are few, if any, children who compete in these competitions so I would love for students at my school to become pioneers in this sport.
