My Students

Our students love physical education!

Students will demonstrate respectfulness for themselves, others, and equipment for the safe enjoyment of all.

Physical Education is an integral part of the total education program. It is that phase of education which provides an opportunity, through activity, for physical, mental and social development.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of team sports, lifetime activities and personal physical fitness programs.

It is our mission to empower all students to sustain regular, lifelong physical activity as a foundation for a healthy, productive and fulfilling life. And of course, have some FUN in the process.

My Project

Our Students:

Our students need equipment shelving to help keep our closet organized and help develop skills of respect for our equipment.

Protect our equipment!

Our School needs help funding this project because to get the shelving units we would have to use our physical education supply budget, this would take away from replacement and purchase of new PE equipment.

The shelves alone would use half of our current supply budget making it impossible to continue to provide the students with the equipment needs to run a successful physical education program.

The mission of our project is to help create an equipment room that can help demonstrate the national standards defined within our pedagogy. Our equipment room is a shared room throughout the community, from coaches of our school teams, to coaches of our recreational teams. Meaning the biggest impact would be within our community atmosphere through improved organization of equipment.

The national standards that this project will aid are Standards 4 and 5. These standards are defined as “The physically literate individual exhibits responsible personal and social behavior that respects self and others….. the value of physical activity for health, enjoyment, challenge, self-expression and/or social interaction.” If we are not organized within our classroom, our classroom atmosphere would be sending the opposite message than desired.

By donating to this project, you will make it possible for these students to have their middle school physical education equipment room stored properly and respectfully.
