My Students
Our student-athletes come from a small rural area and do not have the necessary funds to purchase their own equipment to participate on the lacrosse team. The players rely heavily on the school to provide the equipment for them. Our lacrosse players are all hardworking, dedicated, and determined students who want to succeed at this relatively new sport at the school.
Lacrosse is a part of the overall educational experience and allows students to stay physically active, develop strong relationships with peers and coaches and also gives them a reason to focus on their academics in school.
Your donation will help continue the growth of our program and be give more students a chance to participate in one of the fastest growing sports in the country.
My Project
The equipment listed will help our players improve their skills. More balls to practice with gives players more repetitions, and as the saying goes, practice makes perfect! The shooting targets will help with shot accuracy which will mean more goals scored and more games won! The defensive sticks are essential to any good team and since they are more expensive than short sticks, our student-athletes usually cannot afford them on their own. With kind donations like these, it lets our student-athletes know that there are people who have our back and want to see us succeed! This will help grow our program and give these kids more confidence out on the field.
