My students need the equipment and materials to start our school's first ever basketball teams. The pad poles will be used to provide safety during practice, while the other equipment will lead to successful practices.

My Students
Our students are the changing faces of America! Most of our students are immigrants or first generation Americans. With over 90% of our school receiving free or reduced priced lunch, the need is there.
As a Title I school in East Las Vegas, our students need your help.
Our school is the first and only college prep charter school in East Las Vegas. Our students work rigorously during our extended year and extended day school. However, the success of our school revolves around the people. The teachers, students, families, and donors like you, make this school reach the levels some would expect to be impossible!
My Project
With the Olympic spirit still burning bright, our students are putting together our first ever basketball teams. As with being part of any team, preparation, practice, and equipment are necessary for success. We have preparation and practice, but we need your help with the equipment.
Both our girls and boys middle school teams depend on funding to have a successful first year.
We polled our students to see what materials they believe we need to have a successful year. Our students agree that we are in need of both boys and girls basketballs, pinnies for scrimmaging, and a scoreboard to keep score during games. Further, we are in need of basketball hoop pads to protect students if they hit the basketball polls. These materials will help us teach students about basketball, health, how to stay active for over an hour a day, and how to be part of a team. Help us set the tone and create winning scholar athletes at our school in East Las Vegas. Thank you for taking the time to support our project.
