I teach a very enthusiastic bunch of Pre-Kindergartners! Our class size is 22 with 16 being ESL (English Second Language) learners. My students are part of a Title 1 School and come from varying cultures and area regions.
My students come in every morning with bright faces and curious minds!
Throughout the day they enjoy books, drawing pictures, creating new designs with recycled products and using their imaginations in learning centers. They work so hard practicing sight words, letter sounds and even love math and science! These little minds can't get enough!
My Project
The classroom we are building is one to encourage reading, while introducing my students imaginations to the wonders of books, science and math! We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time. The bookshelves will be used to create a science learning center, build a library and create a math station.
The donations to this project will allow for a more organized a classroom that will improve structure along with classroom management and enhance the hunger for knowledge that these little ones possess.
As a first year teacher, I am doing my absolute best to bring excitement to the classroom, but I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
