My students are a human rainbow. My school has one of the most diverse student population in Chicago. That is our strength. My students come from modest backgrounds but they have big dreams. Most of them belong to families that recently immigrated to America in hopes of a better future. Their parents want nothing more than for their children to have a better future than the one they had themselves in their home countries. These kids are underprivileged but they deserve the best. I hope you will consider supporting my classroom.
My Project
My students desperately need the basic classroom supplies like pencils, glue, dry erase markers, copy paper, markers, etc. I am trying to get supplies for less than $300. For example I use interactive notebooks to make my lessons more interesting for my students. That is where most of these supplies like ELMERS Washable All-Purpose School Glue Stick, are essential. Also in a classroom you can never have enough pencils, that's where Dixon Ticonderoga Wood-Cased #2 HB Pencils will be a life saver. I do a lot of lesson planning at home and print out handouts for lesson, that's where HP 901XL/901 Ink Cartridge will be tremendously helpful.
These supplies will not only give my students a boost of self esteem and self worth but will also play a role in their academic success.
