This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 44 incredible 4th graders come from different backgrounds and have many different learning styles. I teach at a school with over 76% free or reduced-price lunch. Unfortunately, this means that many parents do not have finances to provide the resources that students need.

They are a group of sweet and strong-minded individuals, who deserve the best.

My students are critical thinkers who love to explore and be hands on.

They come to school every day. They overcome obstacles and work their hardest to succeed in the classroom. My classroom is a place where I make sure to help all students feel comfortable being themselves and challenging themselves.

My Project

This year with out a set curriculum for some classes, it has me searching and printing resources that will help my students learn the material that is being taught. All this paper work being used needs to be kept organized. The use of glue sticks and staplers has become a regular thing in my class. Students are able to go back into their notebooks to help find and refer to the needed information to help their learning.

Because the students need glue sticks and staples all the time, they're so consumable they need to be replaced very often.

Glue sticks are very inexpensive and with the help of your donations it can ensures the kids are taken care of for the rest of the school year.
