This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many families in our school community can not afford school supplies. It can be difficult for students who are not able to come to school with new supplies like their peers. I want all my students to start off on an equal footing by providing basic school supplies that everyone needs in my classroom. I believe that providing my students with the necessary school supplies to be successful students is a great way to start their school experience.
These school supplies (paper, crayons, glue) will support learning and activities in the classroom.
Students will have brand-new items to support their creativity. It will mean the world to my students to begin the school year with these awesome school supplies.
