Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will reach 36 Dual language students. Dual language students use twice as much supplies as the other classes because they use them with the English teacher and the Spanish teacher. Our class needs magnetic-dry erase boards to practice their writing skills.
The magnetic board will also help them practice learning the alphabet and it sounds in both languages.
The glue sticks and dry erase markers are highly needed. During the school year we use those items almost everyday and every year we have to ask parents to replace some of those items. Our kindergarten students come from low income families and some of them can’t afford to buy school supplies twice a year.
