This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Black light glow experiments captivate students' attention and foster a sense of wonder and curiosity. By observing the fluorescent properties of various substances, students will engage in hands-on exploration that brings abstract scientific concepts to life.

The black lights, and fluorescent substances we are requesting will serve as catalysts for a transformative learning experience.

This project integrates concepts from multiple STEM disciplines, including chemistry, physics, and biology. Students not only learn about fluorescence but also gain insights into the properties of light, chemical reactions, and the natural world.

Through experimentation and observation, students develop critical thinking skills as they formulate hypotheses, design experiments, analyze data, and draw conclusions. They will learn to approach problems systematically and think critically about scientific phenomena.
