My students have a love for learning. I work with students who have a variety of career goals that range from an industry worker to a neurosurgeon. They are all unique, social beings who are striving to be promoted even with all the barriers they face. They come from a low-income/high poverty school district and need assistance. I want to provide my students with what is needed to ensure their success. This project will help motivate students to do their very best.
My Project
Our students work very hard on a daily basis and we need more opportunities to reward them for their successes. We want to give them rewards for attendance, growth, and academic achievement. We are unable to provide funding for these items based on our school budget. We are asking for supplies to be able to give our kids a glow party and store our materials. We would like to have a variety of glow sticks, a backdrop, glow balloons, glow paint, and storage containers to keep these items. We are also asking for ink cartridges to print posters to advertise the incentive of having a glow party. Please help us give our students this opportunity! If we are able to give them these opportunities, it will provide extrinsic motivation for them to work hard to reach goals and their efforts will be rewarded and noticed by the students and the school. This in return will motivate our students to make better grades and come to school more often. Thanks for your consideration and support!
