My Students

Kindergarten is an exciting time for my little kiddos to blossom into lifelong learners. I have so much passion for teaching, and nothing brings me more joy than being with my kindergarten students! It takes a big heart to shape little minds!

The Kindergarten students surprise me with their eagerness to learn, empathy, and determination every day!

Our students are diverse and come from many backgrounds and ethnicities. Many students are new to the country and are learning English. We have two programs at our school. The ESL program and the STEP program serve children with autism.

My Project

This school year has been full of many challenges with Covid. We want to have an end of the year Glow party celebration . The students will rotate from different stations in the classroom. The math stations will consist of using glow in the dark dice to add and subtract numbers and glow in the dark bowling adding numbers to keep score! Glow rocks will be used to make sight words. The art center will consist of creating a glow in the dark play doh. They will also search the classroom for glow in the dark eggs that reveal task to complete!

It will be so much fun to show off our skills while glowing in the dark!

We will end the day with a dance party wearing our new glasses and rings! Thank you for your help on giving these Kindergarten students a year to remember! With your help, they will for sure be glowing into first grade! I am incredibly grateful for Donorschoose for allowing teachers to get the resources they need to make learning fun and engaging!
