I am blessed to teach second grade at a wonderful Title I school in northeast North Carolina. I am so excited to meet my new group of second grade students this school year. I just know they will be loving, hard-working, easily motivated, and care about each other and their success! I can't wait to get to know each one and engage, motivate and inspire them in the new school year ahead.
Our school glows bright with students that are excited to learn, work hard, and feel valued when they are given options and choices that show their interests matter!
We are a diverse school consisting of students and families from various backgrounds and cultures, as well as Coast Guard families. They are each unique and have a special way of winning our hearts with their kindness and thoughtfulness. The students and staff at our elementary school have truly become a family to one another!
My Project
I want to give my students a special Glow Day where we are able to review all concepts learned so far this school year and celebrate our many accomplishments and met goals.
These resources will be a great addition to engage my students in a fun review day full of glowing math, reading, and writing activities!
The stickers will be used to make arrays, create story problems, and line plots. The bowls and party utensils will be used for our special lunch in the classroom together. The strobe lights will be used for the celebration and awards ceremony at the end of our review day!
