Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are English language learners fro Arizona. Our student population speaks over 20 languages. About 99% of my students are part of the free and reduced-price lunch program and many of my students come from low-income families. Students at my school are curious and enthusiastic learners who learn in many different ways.
I have students from all parts of the world including Mexico, Africa, Vietnam, and Somalia.
I would love to be able to give my students a Glow day. This will be not only a day of learning but a celebration of success. With this project I would like to get glow day materials so that I can set up my classroom for a day they won't forget. My students work hard and will have earned the right to feel proud. I am also asking for gifts in time for the holidays. For many of my students these may be the only times they get to celebrate. Thank you for checking out my project and I hope you can help us glow.
