My Project
What I love most about my students is their willingness to grow, try new things, and support one another. Each day, they show up ready to learn—even when the work is hard—and they bring joy, curiosity, and energy into our classroom. Their progress may look different from student to student, but every step forward deserves to be seen and celebrated. Positive reinforcement has a powerful impact on their confidence and motivation, and I believe that recognition should feel exciting and memorable.
This project will provide a variety of glow-in-the-dark items—like ultra-bright glow sticks, LED foam sticks, and neon party supplies—to be used as a classroom incentive for our 2nd grade students on our entire grade span.
These glowing rewards will be given out to celebrate academic achievements, acts of kindness, personal growth, and classroom milestones. These items will help foster a positive learning environment where students feel proud, encouraged, and motivated to keep striving for success across our 2nd grade span.
