This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My primary goals for this project are to increase student engagement in math, improve understanding of key concepts, and foster a collaborative learning environment where students can explore and experiment with math in a fun way.
By incorporating these materials (black lights and glow-in-the-dark items), I hope to inspire a love for learning and boost students' confidence in their math skills.
Our students are curious, enthusiastic learners who thrive on creativity and hands-on experiences. Many come from diverse backgrounds and face unique challenges, but their determination and willingness to learn make them truly special. This project will provide them with an exciting opportunity to explore math in a new light, literally!
