My Project

Students thrive when having the necessary supplies for math, science, literature and art.

First graders are independent learners, thus need their own supplies when working on projects.

Many project require paper, markers, crayons and basic drawing materials to be successful. I love teaching about Johnny Appleseed, Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. All projects have a visual picture to go along with their writing. Students can be creative by adding their own background and details to the project.

Students are excitied and thrive when they get to use markers, watercolors, and bright colored paper. They can't wait to get started because the materials are available and fun to use. It is wonderful to let all students have their own things, so they learn how to be responsible for their materials. All supplies can be used in all areas of First grad curriculum.
