My Project

Please consider helping our school provide our classrooms with a globe. We believe it is essential that each classroom has a planet to help students understand where they live, where other places in the world are, as well as the unique characteristics of our Earth.

Our science and social studies curriculums teach our students about our Earth, so having a classroom globe would be an excellent comprehensive and tactile learning tool.

World globes provide much more than just the locations of habitats, forests, and unique topography; but allow students to sense that they are part of something much more significant and vast than their home, neighborhood, or school. They will be able to see that they are part of a larger world, instilling a desire to learn more about their planet, the star that it orbits, and other terrestrial bodies in the solar system.
