Glaze That Pottery!

Help me give my students various colors and types of pottery glaze, such as jungle gems.

My Project

My students have been eagerly waiting to begin our ceramics unit. I will be a teaching my middle school students how to coil build ceramic cereal bowls and coffee mugs. These glazes will help us complete our functional pottery pieces.

With these glazes, students will be able to finish their ceramic cereal bowls and mugs, so they can safely eat, and drink out of their pottery.

My fourth and fifth grade classes will be using the Jungle Gem glazes to finish their clay fish. Jungle gems leave speckles that look like scales.

These brightly colored glazes add to the excitement of making pottery.
