This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In the art room, I try to give my students a well-rounded art experience by exposing them to all art mediums. Ceramic art is a 3D hands-on learning experience that I want to share with my students. The kids also love creating with clay and building on their motor skills.
My students need fresh new glaze colors and refills of oldies to continue building our art room color library for their clay projects.
My students are at many different levels of creating clay sculptures. Currently, students are working on clay rubber duckies, gnomes, pumpkins, cupcakes, and other independent creations. We are in the process of glazing and in need of refills. We are also looking to build our color library by adding more glaze choices to the art room.
