My students bring such joy to my life and I am thankful to be their teacher.
We seriously have some of the best students in our small town elementary school.
I know that every school and every teacher says that, but I know just how amazing our students are.
We are over 60% free and reduced lunch, but together our community, parents, and staff work together to get everything we need. I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.
My Project
Our students are artists, they love to create! Our students are also very giving, and would give a gift every week if they could.
We have 85 third grade students who we would like to create a gift for their parents this year.
Every year we try to do this project, but in recent years the glass plates have gotten very expensive. We would love to continue to do this project because giving is a wonderful life skill for our students to learn.
These glass plates are fun and exciting to create. Each plate is covered with tissue paper that our students pick out. Some are multi-colored while others are single colored. We love how each plate is unique and has a different pattern. If you look at my picture, you'll see these designs. Our students are so creative! I also love as they talk to each other and praise each other for their awesome designs.
This project lights up our students eyes and is a perfect gift to give to their families during the holiday season. These plates are simply amazing to see! By donating you are not only allowing our students to be creative and giving, you are also giving a wonderful gift to their families. It is a practical way for our classroom to connect to our community.
