My Project

Our school is a Title I institution dedicated to supporting Multi-lingual learners and students needing extra help with reading comprehension through the use of GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition Design) teaching strategies. We proudly serve over 76% students of color and provide special education services within an inclusive classroom model, supported by the Inclusionary Practice Project through the University of Washington's Haring Center.

GLAD strategies are research-based instructional approaches that enhance language acquisition and deepen comprehension by integrating visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning.

These strategies empower students to engage actively with both literary and informational texts, making learning accessible and meaningful for diverse learners.

To effectively implement these strategies, we need materials that will allow us to create large, poster-sized visuals for pre-teaching and ongoing review. The requested items include:

HP DesignJet T630 Large Format 24-inch Plotter Printer,

HP 712 29ml Cyan DesignJet Original Ink Cartridges, and

ACYPAPER Plotter Paper

These tools will enable us to print vibrant, eye-catching educational materials that can be laminated and reused throughout the school year, greatly enhancing student engagement and comprehension.
