My Project

I'd like my students to give blankets to Asian elders in the community to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The project aims to make a positive impact on the learning experience of students by instilling values of empathy, compassion, and community engagement. The act of creating and giving out blankets fosters a sense of connection and care among students, contributing to their social and emotional development.

The primary goal of this project is to spread love and care within the community, particularly towards Asian Elders, as the Chinese Lunar New Year approaches.

By involving students in the Blankets of Hope initiative, the project seeks to promote a sense of community service, cultural awareness, and inclusivity. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for students to actively participate in giving back to their community.

The uniqueness of your students lies in the diversity of their backgrounds, with almost half coming from the Asian community. This diversity enriches the school environment and provides a valuable opportunity for cultural exchange and understanding.
