This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our classical guitar program has a total of 42 students this year. My students are enthusiastic and passionate about learning guitar.

The majority of students in this program are picking up a musical instrument for the first time.

Due to the pandemic, this will be the first full year of this program on our campus. My students are incredibly excited to learn to play the guitar and write their music. Many of my students take their guitars home over the weekend to practice.

My Project

Music is in the air. Our classical guitar program needs a guitar rack. We recently purchased guitars for every student in our program and need a place to store them.

During the pandemic, we purchased guitars for every student in the program.

Before the pandemic, we only had half the guitars and had to share them. Due to the increase of guitars and students in our program, we need to store our guitars. We are back in our classroom and use our guitars daily. A guitar stand will help keep our guitars safe and ensure our program for years to come.
