Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students come from families facing financial hardship, making it difficult for them to afford even the basics. That's why I'm reaching out to you for support.
This project aims to provide my 6th graders with the fundamental tools they need to actively participate in class and thrive academically.
Having access to these essential supplies will not only enhance their learning experience but also foster a sense of preparedness and confidence. Specifically, I'm requesting funding for the following crucial items:
Pencils are an indispensable tool in any classroom. This bulk pack of 500 pre-sharpened pencils will ensure that every student always has a working writing utensil. No more disruptions caused by searching for a pencil! This allows students to focus on what truly matters: learning.
Dry Erase Markers: Bringing Learning to Life: Whiteboards are a central part of our interactive lessons, collaborative projects, and quick assessments. This 36-pack of black chisel tip dry erase markers will ensure we have enough markers for all activities, enabling students to actively participate and express their ideas. A good supply of markers makes learning more dynamic and engaging.
Tissues: A Healthy Learning Environment: A clean and healthy classroom is essential for optimal learning. This bulk case of tissues will help us maintain hygiene, especially during cold and flu season. Providing tissues helps prevent the spread of germs and allows students to focus on learning without the distraction of sniffles and coughs. It also demonstrates care for their well-being.
Thank you for considering supporting my students! Any contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference.
