This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

They walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. They are an eager bunch and enjoy being challenged and learning about the world around them. The majority of my class is on free and reduced lunch and their home life is less than desirable. As their teacher this year, I am doing my best to bring happiness, positivity, enrichment, and support into their lives. My students lack the economic means to gain certain experiences, and it my goal to foster an encouraging environment and to create a chance for them to partake in everyday childhood experiences. My class is filled with lively students all very different in their learning abilities, needs, and goals, however, over the past four weeks, we have developed a close-knit classroom. Friendships have been formed and connections have been made. All that walk into my classroom can see and hear this nurturing environment.

My Project

My students are all second language learners. They are not confident in themselves and have a hard time sharing out their ideas and thoughts.

This amazing tool will help them gain confidence and give them a voice.

It will greatly enhance our lessons and encourage all learners to equally participate and share. With this learning tool my students will gain confidence as well as well as become proficient English speakers.

This amazing throwable microphone ball will enhance our learning and our classroom experiences. Students will be able to share not only their thoughts but their writing and their math. It will be a great way to learn and share.
