My Project

My project is seeking resources to support everyone's needs - both emotional and physical - to allow them to feel highly valued as a unique member of our classroom community. Every student comes to school needing distinctly different supports from the classroom.

As times are changing, the vastness of these needs is increasing and items such as flexible seating, breathing machines, and books to directly teach about different experiences and emotions, are becoming necessities within the classroom.

Each of these items will help provide a tool in my teacher toolbox to pull from to support every learner who is part of my classroom community. This means whether I need to teach a whole group lesson about grit or allow a student time in our calming area with the breathing machine or offer a student a different manner of seat, I will have these options available to me right within my room to try out right as the students need them.
