My students come from central Arkansas. In our area, the arts are not always emphasized. My students are classified as low income, and are under-served. It is my mission to serve them by opening their eyes to their own creative potential.
Because our school serves a population where funds are not always available, I do what I can to help them access the supplies, technologies, and multi-cultural artistic influences that they would not have access to otherwise.
I would like for my students to be able to broaden their view of the world and its' cultures by investigating several different artistic styles, techniques, and processes. With your help, I can make this goal a reality.
My Project
Throughout my years as a donors choose teacher, I have been awarded many credits, and have had many donations to various projects for my students. I am so grateful for all I have been able to receive through this site. Now, however, I feel that it would be nice for my fellow teachers to benefit.
I am requesting PE equipment that my elementary PE teacher has expressed need for, rewards store items for elementary students that my principal has regularly had to pay for out of pocket, and encouraging grading stamps for all of the elementary teachers to help them with upcoming quarterly grades.
With your help, I can give back to the teachers that work so hard to help our students succeed, not only creatively, but physically and academically as well.
